Trust fund distribution FAQ
A list of Frequently Asked Questions in relation to the trus fund can be found below. Please refer to these before contacting the Joint Liquidators.
1. Who will receive a cheque?
All valid trust fund creditors whose claims were submitted by 24 December 2010 will receive a full refund.
2. What is being repaid?
Valid trust fund creditors will receive a full refund of their unredeemed vouchers purchased on or after 27 November 2008.
3. My claim consists of both trust fund and unsecured vouchers yet I have only received a refund for the trust fund element, why is this?
As previously advised, unsecured creditor claims will rank equally alongside trade and other unsecured creditors in a distribution of the Company’s surplus assets. We currently expect that unsecured creditors will receive a distribution of between 15p and 25p in the £1.
In June 2011 the Joint Liquidators completed the process of making a first interim distribution of the Company’s surplus assets to unsecured creditors. Trust fund creditors should therefore have by now received cheques in respect of both the trust fund and unsecured element of their claims.
